At our last (alas) Edinburgh Castle event, Daniel Handler wowed us with an intense story about a man, a woman, and the passage of time. Alan Black was our hilarious guide on a sobering gastronomic tour of a Glasgow soccer stadium. Kim Wong Keltner compelled us with her account of an under-age sexual encounter north of Bush Street. Tissa Hami cracked us up while telling us the lengths to which an Iranian-American schoolgirl will go to try and fit in. Mojie Crigler hauntingly evoked a child of divorce in the graveyards of New England. |
